3D printing in PA-CF
Nylon reinforced with carbon fibre, for the parts where stiffness and temperature matter most.
Good for
- Stiff parts under mechanical load
- Assembly fixtures and guides
- Parts working up to about 150 °C
Not good for
- Parts where PETG is enough: it costs more
- Flexible parts
- Electrical insulation: carbon fibre conducts
At a glance
- Behaviour
- Very stiff, matte surface
- Density
- 1.12 g/cm³
- Heat deflection temperature (HDT)
- ~150 °C
